Bus Driver Responsibilities: School Bus Drivers provide transportation for students ranging from K-12 grades. Local drivers who live in area and have parking available at their residence are able to bring the bus home. Qualifications: The position requires a High School Diploma, GED or related experience, a good driving record, a CDL-C license with the passenger and school bus endorsements, the ability to relate to children of various ages, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates must also have a favorable criminal background check, pass drug testing and successfully complete the Department of Transportation physical. If you do not currently have a CDL-C with the proper endorsements, the ability to obtain such maybe required depending on the route. Non-CDL routes also available. Hours: Variable hours (20-30 hrs/week). This is a school year position. Candidates need to be available to work Monday-Friday 6:00-8:00 am and/or 4:00-6:00 pm.
